Specialty Hospital of Albuquerque is a 24 (LTACH)

Directs, establishes, and plans the overall policies and goals for a medical records department in support of hospital strategic objectives and program planning. Ensures that all health information management practices meet JCAHO and state standards. Oversees budgeting, quality improvement, hiring, evaluation and supervision, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

Requires a bachelor's degree and have RHIA/RHIT certification with at least 2 years of experience in the field. Manages a group of exempt and nonexempt employees. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
